How are the ICMA winners chosen?

Our Irish Country Music Awards are highly respected by the Irish Country Music Industry at large because it is the voting public who decide who wins. The staff of ICMA are not permitted to vote.

The awards criteria, voting and balloting procedures are established by ICMA's Board of Presenters.

The eligibility period for the Irish Country Music Awards each years spans from August – July.

Irish Country singles, albums, music videos, and qualifying products for the musical event must have been first released during the eligibility period.
