Nominees

Annmarie O' Riordan, daughter of Humphrey and Eileen O' Riordan is a fifth year student in Millstreet Community School. She is seventeen years old and has one brother John Joe who is in college. Her interests include singing, playing music, taking care of her many pets and having a good time with friends. She has been singing in competitions since she was seven years of age and has won numerous awards. She is a member of her local church choir and sings solo at church functions i.e. weddings, anniversaries, funerals.

She released her debut album "Harmony Handed Down" in June, 2003 which was hugely successful. In September 2005 she released her second album "Melody in Harmony". Both sixteen track albums include locally written ballads evoking special memories of Ireland in bygone days. The accolades and titles of both albums were composed by local television personality Seán Radley.
