Sean Donlan is originally from Roscommon but has lived in and around County Cork for many years.

He started his working life in Peatland Research, Glenamoy, Co Mayo before moving to the Micro Biology department in Moorepark, Fermoy but music was always his first love. He came to work in C103, or County Sound as it was known then in 1990 and has been here since. He believes that Radio is a life line for many rural dwellers and has a great respect for his listeners. Sean’s appreciation of music can only be described as eclectic; his tastes run from Irish Country to Bluegrass to Classical and Dixieland Jazz and his beautiful baritone voice is no stranger to regulars in his local watering holes in Charleville and Buttevant et al.
Sean is a regular visitor to Branson, Missouri where he likes to keep up with the latest in American musical talent.Over the years Sean has built up an impressive collection of music CD’s from around the globe and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Irish performers, both past and present.
